How can we help you?
What can you offer that I cannot get at other online schools?
This is a great question! CABEN actually offers several services that are both very hard to find elsewhere, and at such an affordable price.
With CABEN, you can study for the IELTS, the TOEIC, or the TOEFL from as low as pre-intermediate, as well as countless other professional certificates in everything from nursing or the culinary arts to aviation or accounting. Your certified teacher is both experienced in ESL as well as in the test they teach.
Most other online schools that offer courses on these tests only do so on an individual basis, (one-on-one, which costs much more for the student, and isn't a course but mere classes). If not this, most facilities offer group classes in person, and locally only. If neither of these is the case, most online education companies offer content that has been prepared in advance, but without any actual in-class instruction or broader course for any particular test. The reason for this is that courses (versus mere classes) cost more, have a definite number of seats, and require real people to work in real time. There has to be a schedule to follow, and a lot more. Check for yourself and you'll see that any schools that claim to offer preparation courses nearly always offer classes (not courses), which are often just video content that is prepared in advance for students to follow and learn on their own. Some language schools do offer test-preparation, instructor-led courses, but often this is only locally and in a local language for a local audience.
Reasons why people prefer a course instead of classes:
A course has a syllabus and is designed to take you from A all the way to Z. You're in a group environment and there are consequences if you quit. Like consequences, a course also comes with a reward if you go all the way until completion. Often, students have no idea what the a test like the TOEFL is, how it works, what it takes to pass it, how to prepare for it; and students might lack the motivation to accomplish such on their own, without any guidance, all the way until the end. This is because in addition to not understanding how best to prepare for the test, they also need help learning English as its own, separate skill.
That's where we come in. We can recommend what test you should take depending on the country or academic institution you would like to study in, and guide you all the way until success. Feel free to get in touch!

Do I need previous experience ?
Absolutely not! Students only need to have a B1 starting point in English, regardless of the test they are taking. This is because too much time is needed to pass from one level to the next, which would not be a practical approach to passing these tests. As you will see elsewhere, CABEN highly recommends working to B1 in general English, after which point you can enroll in the test-preparation course that best suits your needs.

How can I choose my courses?
Most students know which test they need to study for prior to enrolling with CABEN. However, if this is not your case, feel free to read further or simply get in touch with your inquiry.
The TOEFL iBT is often used for higher-education study in the United States and Canada, while the IELTS Academic is often used for study in Great Britain as well as most other English-speaking countries, including Canada. While the TOEFL iBT tends to focus on student life on campus, the IELTS has a greater focus on English used in the classroom.
The TOEIC works for either country, as can the IELTS General Training if you would simply like to immigrate or work but not study. Additionally, if you are planning on continuing your education and have not yet gone into a graduate program or a bachelor's program, depending on the university or college, both can also work. Prior to enrolling for these tests, we recommend checking the test requirements on the site of the school you would like to study at.
If you are unsure of which test would best suit your needs, you can try our blog for more information.

When can I start studying ?
The answer to this question depends on your starting level, test, and the time of year you have come to our site. If you are looking for a specialized test-preparation course, you will need to get in touch with us to make arrangements for your team.
Four-month courses are designed for students who would like to raise their level from B1 to B2 or from B2 to C1. Regardless, all four-month courses start in either September, January, or May. For students that need to jump two levels, from B1 to C1, the tests will require nine months of preparation, and thus only two such courses are offered per year unless student demand requires a third or fourth group. If any of the classes have more than 10 students, a new group is started and the students are divided up.
